Empowering VLEs at the Grassroots Level
The Trade Union of CSC VLEs was established to represent and support the interests of Village Level Entrepreneurs operating Common Services Centres across West Bengal. Our mission is to advocate for VLE rights while ensuring uninterrupted delivery of digital services to rural communities.
Village Level Entrepreneurs are the backbone of digital inclusion in India. They operate CSC kiosks, bringing digital literacy and essential services to communities that would otherwise have limited access to government schemes and commercial services.
Our trade union represents over 1,000 VLEs across West Bengal, helping them access resources, represent their interests, and continue serving thousands of citizens daily with everything from Aadhaar updates to railway ticket bookings.
